How to make condensed milk at home -

Prep Time: 5-6 minutes

Cook Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients -

  • Milk powder - 1/2 cup

  • Butter - 1.5 tbsp

  • Boiled water - 1/4 cup

  • Powdered/Granulated or Icing Sugar - 3 tbsp

Method -

  • In a small vessel, boiled water until bubbles appear and turned off gas.

  • In a mixing bowl, add milk powder, icing sugar, butter and boiled water.     

  • Ground into a smooth paste.

  • Let it cool down and store it in an airtight container.

Note - It stays fresh up to 4-5 days in the refrigerator if properly handled.

Delicious dessert using condensed milk - Banana Pudding

Ingredients -

  • 2 cups milk, cold milk

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 4 pieces banana, sliced

  • 14 pieces wafer biscuit

  • 1½ cups heavy whipping cream, Fresh whip cream

  • 1 tin condensed milk


Method -

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat pudding mix and milk for 2 minutes.

  • Blend in sweetened condensed milk until smooth.

  • Stir in vanilla and fold in whipped topping.

  • Layer wafers, bananas and pudding mixture in a glass serving bowl.

  • Chill until serving.

  • Approximately minimum of 4 hours.
