Fixed Wireless (used for delivering fixed internet broadband connection) is a microwave-based technology that transmits voice and data between two fixed microwave dishes. One microwave dish is on the sender’s end and another on the receiver’s end. Voice and data being transmitted reaches these fixed terminals (similar to a cell phone tower), offering mission critical internet access.
Two Types of Fixed Wireless System:
Fixed wireless technology makes use of transmission towers or ground stations that are interloped and also linked with customer’s location.
